An expatriate held in Kuwait for allegedly plotting terrorA resident was detained by the Public Prosecution on Wednesday for allegedly planning a hostile act against a foreign state and joining an illegal group. The expatriate is also accused of training in the illegal manufacture and use of explosives, breaking “the Emirate Status,” continuing to have social media connections to the banned organization, and spreading propaganda supporting its ideology.
The person is also accused of recruiting foreign fighters, training people in explosives, and instructing people in firearms at shooting ranges. After being questioned, the suspect admitted to the accusations. An investigation is being conducted into the case. (KUNA)
