According to Al-Jarida daily, the Kuwait Municipality’s Public Relations and Media Department has accepted the recommendation made by the Camps Committee, which asks for the cancellation of spring camp licenses in the event that infractions are committed. According to the municipality’s statement, the committee determines infractions by looking at the requirements and guidelines for setting up spring camps. The municipality announced during a meeting that eight licenses had been revoked for breaking rules and regulations. The appropriate steps will be taken to cancel the camp license if it is discovered that the license holder is using the facility for purposes other than those for which it is authorized or if they are establishing undesirable events that run counter to conservative customs and traditions and Islamic teachings.
