The Central Bank of Kuwait has announced the introduction of an additional step for using payment links, aimed at enhancing security and giving users a chance to review and confirm payment details before completing the transaction.

When accessing an electronic payment link, the new step will display details of the payment process, including the recipient’s name, amount, and purpose. Users must approve these details before proceeding to the payment page. The Central Bank advises users to carefully review the information before finalizing the transaction.
