An 86-year-old disabled Kuwaiti man lost his entire bank balance of 1,000 dinars to a scam via a video call just before Eid. The scammer posed as a military captain offering financial aid and tricked the man into sharing his bank details and OTP code. Despite being aware of such scams, the man fell victim again and described the experience as being under a spell. He has reported the incident to the police and is seeking help from the Ministry of Interior to recover his stolen funds.
