The Criminal Court sentenced Adel Al-Hashash to 5 years in prison for misusing funds at the Ministry of Interior by providing meals for security personnel. The Ministry discovered this wrongdoing and brought the case to court. Al-Hashash, who worked as the public relations director, denied the charge, saying he didn’t know about it. He’s already serving time in another case related to Ministry of Interior hospitality, where he was given a life sentence instead of 15 years, plus a fine of KD 113 million.
