Feb. 4, LOS ANGELES (Agencies): I can’t wait to pick up my Hawkeye bow again, Jeremy Renner! The actor gave an update on the likelihood of reprising his role as the superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe who wields a bow after he nearly died in a snowplow accident on January 1, 2023.
The 53-year-old Renner said, “I’m always game,” indicating his readiness to play his Avengers role again. “I can assure you that I will have sufficient strength. I’ll be prepared.
Renner said, “All those guys come to my bedside.” He was grateful for his MCU co-stars’ support during his difficult rehabilitation from the accident, which left him with over 30 shattered bones. They’ve supported me during my entire recuperation, so they may have me if they so choose. Something would be involved.
Renner gave a health update and talked about his possible comeback as Hawkeye. He said that he is presently performing “probably 90 percent of all the things I needed to be doing.”
Renner thanked everyone who has supported him during his recuperation process, including his Marvel co-stars, for the unwavering support he has received over the last 13 months.
