Kuwaiti, Egyptian to Hang for Rashidi Kill

Yesterday, the Criminal Court imposed a death-by-hanging sentence on a Kuwaiti national and an Egyptian expatriate who was charged with Mubarak Al-Rashidi’s. Once it was established that the suspects had committed premeditated murder, the Public Prosecution had asked that the Criminal Court execute the suspects. The first defendant was found to have premeditated his crime by preparing his tools, searching for the victim, and killing him after he was apprehended.

The body of citizen Mubarak Al-Rashidi was found inside a container in Salmi, the Ministry of Interior announced, weeks after he vanished in the Subbiya desert. The body was identified as belonging to the missing citizen Mubarak Al-Rashidi, who had been killed, according to the forensic evidence report, which was released on May 26.

The specifics of this horrible crime were made public by the Ministry of Interior’s investigations and ongoing efforts since citizen Mubarak Al-Rashidi vanished. In cooperation with the Egyptian security services, the investigations were carried out from Kuwait all the way to Egypt in an attempt to identify the Egyptian suspect who had assisted in moving Al-Rashidi’sbodyto Salmi and had seen the crime take place inside a camp in Kabd.
