Kuwait’s chess tournament begins each year.The 50th annual men’s chess tournament in Kuwait began play on Monday and will conclude on February 1. In a press release, Kuwait Mind Sports Association Vice President Adel Al-Ameri said that the yearly competition is regarded as the season’s most significant, adding that it is conducted in accordance with Swiss regulations. Al-Ameri wished luck to each and every participant and mentioned that the tournament is being held at the association’s headquarters in Al-Qadsia. — KUNA
