Kuwait’s Final Cold Season, Which Lasts 26 days, Starts on February 10

The final winter season, which is typically quite cold, will begin on February 10 and run for 26 days, according to a statement released by the Al-Ojairi Scientific Center on Sunday. The Center added in a statement to KUNA that this season will be a period of transition between winter and spring, with temperatures in open regions expected to drop starting on February 10. The center also stated that the weather would be somewhere in between freezing and rather mild near the end of the season. The Al-Ojairi Scientific Center noted that the approaching season would coincide with an uncommon occurrence where a full moon appears larger than usual when it is at perigee, the closest point in its orbit to Earth.
