Legislator Abdulaziz Al-Saqaabi MP brought up the subject of foreign nationals taking professional exams prior to arriving in Kuwait for employment. Since this project was announced several years ago, he inquired as to why it was taking so long to get started. He claims that the Public Authority of Manpower made an announcement some time ago.
The Public Authority of Manpower, he claims, declared several years ago that it will test foreign professionals, including engineers, physicians, accountants, and others, before they come to Kuwait for work. The tests haven’t been put to use, though.

He questioned the minister about the cause of the postponement as well as the steps that had been taken up to this point to begin testing.
