According to the Al-Rai daily, the Ministry of Education (MoE) is experimenting with a mechanism for flexible school hours starting today in all kinds of schools, including general education, Arab private, religious education, and special education facilities. The new schedule calls for kindergartens and special education institutions to run for five hours every day, while the other stages will run for six hours, including a forty-five-minute break. Furthermore, the Ministry has declared that fingerprint registration would become necessary for all staff members, including administrators and teachers. It has been reported that if this criteria is not met within a week, there will be an immediate suspension of pay without warning.
