Sudanese Man Confesses to Killing Fellow Countryman in Argument Over Money

A Sudanese expatriate was apprehended for fatally stabbing his compatriot with a screwdriver in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh before fleeing the scene. Upon receiving reports of a body found in the area, security personnel swiftly responded, confirming the victim’s identity as a Sudanese national who succumbed to a neck wound. Subsequent investigations led to the arrest of another Sudanese national, who confessed to the murder stemming from a financial disagreement. He was handed over to the Public Prosecution for legal proceedings.

In a related update, the Ministry of Interior’s Security Media Department announced the apprehension of the perpetrator by officers from the Criminal Security Sector. The timely arrest, facilitated by the Directorate General of Criminal Investigation’s Farwaniya Investigation Department, occurred within eight hours of receiving information about the incident. Through diligent search and investigation, the suspect was located, arrested, and the murder weapon recovered. During interrogation, the suspect admitted to the attack, citing financial disputes as the motive.
