The Ministry of Interior stressed the severe enforcement of the law against any infractions and asked Kuwaiti nationals and foreigners to observe rules and directions during national holiday celebrations.

The Ministry confirmed its preparedness for the festivities in a statement to the General Department of Security Relations and Media. It did this by putting in place a thorough security and traffic plan in accordance with the instructions of Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Defense, and the Acting Minister of Interior. Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the acting undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, is in charge of overseeing the implementation.

The Security Media Department will work with various media platforms to coordinate and step up security and traffic awareness initiatives.
