The General Traffic Department, under the direction of Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic and Operations Affairs Major General Yousef Al-Khadda, issued 26,778 citations for various traffic violations and impounded 95 vehicles and 93 motorcycles in a single week. Weekly statistics also show that 32 individuals with serious violations were detained, 63 wanted vehicles were seized, and 49 minors were referred to the Juvenile Prosecution for driving without a license. Additionally, five violators of residency laws were arrested, and six individuals were referred to authorities for abnormal conditions or suspected narcotic substances possession.
