A new health center in Kuwait will serve expatriate workers

The Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi, inaugurated the Fahaheel Health Center in the Ahmadi Health Zone, aimed at providing medical testing services for expatriate workers. The center offers a wide range of medical services as part of the ministry’s efforts to improve healthcare. Minister Al-Awadhi stated that the center, spanning three floors, focuses on primary healthcare for workers with article 18 visas, featuring nine clinics including those for diabetes and chronic diseases. It is one of eight centers serving the Ahmadi health zone. Additionally, there is a school health services center with ten clinics and two laboratories linked to the Adan Hospital system. The expatriate medical test center expects to serve 300 to 500 individuals daily, equipped with four X-ray machines and a Dental Department. All services are consolidated under one roof at the Fahaheel Health Center, aiming to alleviate pressure on healthcare services in the Ahmadi Health Zone. The center is open to both expatriates and citizens, while services at the Fahaheel Specialized Center are exclusive to citizens.
