The Central Agency for Public Tenders will present 18 new road maintenance projects today, focusing on comprehensive repairs in various governorates and highways, according to informed sources who spoke to Al-Rai. The sources revealed that the tender period will last 30 days from the announcement date, during which companies can submit their bids. After the bidding phase concludes, offers will be reviewed, and once approvals are secured from the tenders committee and the Audit Bureau, the winning companies will start the road maintenance operations.

The projects include work on 12 road sectors within the governorates and six highway sectors. The approved projects are as follows:

1. Jahra Governorate (First Zone): 1,095 days of comprehensive road maintenance.
2. Farwaniya Governorate (First Zone): 1,095 days of comprehensive road maintenance.
3. Capital Governorate (First Zone): 1,095 days of comprehensive road maintenance.
4. Hawalli Governorate (First Zone): 1,095 days of comprehensive road maintenance.
5. Al-Ahmadi Governorate (First Zone): 1,095 days of comprehensive road maintenance.
6. Al-Ahmadi Governorate (Second Zone): 1,095 days of comprehensive road maintenance.
7. Capital Governorate (Second Zone): 1,095 days of comprehensive road maintenance.
8. Hawalli Governorate (Second Range): 1,095 days of comprehensive road maintenance.
9. Farwaniya Governorate (Second Range): 1,095 days of comprehensive road maintenance.
10. Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate (First Range): 1,095 days of comprehensive road maintenance.
11. Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate (Second Range): 1,095 days of comprehensive road maintenance.
12. Jahra Governorate (Second Zone): 1,095 days of comprehensive road maintenance.
13. First Ring Road: General maintenance covering third, fourth, and fifth intersections, and King Fahd Road.
14. Sixth and Seventh Ring Road: General maintenance.
15. King Fahd Road and Fahaheel Road: General maintenance.
16. Subiya Road: General maintenance.
17. Abdali Road and Jahra Road: General maintenance.
18. Salmi Road: General maintenance.

These projects aim to improve infrastructure and road safety across the region, ensuring smoother and more reliable transportation for residents and commuters.
