Egyptian Taken into Arrest for Stolen KD $300,000

An Egyptian expatriate who is suspected of stealing more than 300,000 Kuwaiti dinars from the Kuwait Aviation Services Company has been seized by the Criminal Security Sector. The General Department of Criminal Investigation, which consists of the Department of Combating Money Crimes and the Department of Interpol, made this accomplishment possible.

In response to a request from the Public Funds Prosecution for the search, investigation, and arrest of the suspect for document tampering and forgery, the Criminal and Arab Police Department (Interpol) and the Anti-Money Crimes Department swiftly organized a specialist team. This team worked with consular and United Arab Emirates authorities to make sure the suspect was apprehended before he could return to his native country. Since then, the suspect has been located and extradited to Kuwait for additional examination and prosecution.
