Italy will deliver 13 additional Eurofighter jets to Kuwait within the next 18 months

Colonel Salvatore Ferrara, the Military Attaché at the Italian Embassy, confirmed the strong relationship between the air forces of Kuwait and Italy. He stated that Italy will deliver 13 additional Eurofighter aircraft to Kuwait within the next 18 months, following an announcement by Italian Minister of Defense Guido Crosetto during his recent visit to the country, as reported by Al-Qabas daily. Ferrara mentioned that 15 out of 28 Eurofighters have already been delivered under the ‘Eurofighter Kuwait’ program. He praised the successful and positive outcomes of Minister Crosetto’s visit to Kuwait on March 5, during which he met with Kuwait’s Defense Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al-Sabah, accompanied by Undersecretary of the ministry Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Meshaal Al-Sabah and Chief of the General Staff of the Army Major General P.S.C. Pilot Bandar Al-Muzain.

According to Ferrara, both sides commended bilateral defense cooperation as crucial for regional peace and stability, offering opportunities for mutual investment and bolstering the economies of both nations. Discussions during the visit covered various common topics and highlighted the growing defense partnership between Kuwait and Italy, including the renewal of several agreements and enhanced cooperation between their armed forces.
