The Public Authority of Manpower (PAM) now allows companies to register two drivers for one heavy vehicle, according to Al-Shahed daily. This applies to trucks, half-lorries, and other heavy vehicles, but not private cars. Employers must adhere to the specified number of employees set by PAM. The decision aims to address employer complaints about high driver salaries. PAM will monitor the Labor Estimation Department to prevent misuse of this new rule.
