According to daily reports from Al-Shahed, the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has made it possible for all companies to receive 100% of their work permits. Employers can now hire foreign workers based on estimated numbers thanks to this decision. The PAM ruling states that KD 150 is the required fee to be paid in order to obtain a work permit.

By this ruling, PAM has eliminated the earlier criteria that had divided the companies into three categories: the first group was qualified to obtain work permits for the full amount of their estimated labor needs, the second group was eligible for work permits for half of their needs, and the third group was qualified to obtain work permits for 25% of their needs.
