Kuwait has Decided to Follow the Gulf Trend by Resuming Visitation Visas

Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, Kuwait’s Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Acting Minister of Interior, confirmed that the decision to allow travel for business, pleasure, and families was made in reaction to the trend of most Gulf nations resuming similar travel. The minister stressed that extensive rules and regulations have been put in place to oversee these visits in a statement to Al-Qabas daily.

But he also said, “Those who follow these rules will be greeted with open arms, and those who don’t will suffer consequences and legal penalties.” Minister Fahad Al-Yousef emphasized that the Ministry of Interior has put in place a number of policies and procedures to guarantee the appropriate handling of all kinds of visits under certain circumstances, along with ongoing oversight to impose rules and discourage infractions.
