Authorities have arrested a Kuwaiti citizen for cultivating and distributing marijuana, seizing a significant quantity of illegal substances and related materials. Led by the criminal security sector, intensified efforts to combat drug trafficking prioritize community protection. Under Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah’s direct supervision, the Ministry of Interior oversees these operations.
The Local Control Department of the General Department of Narcotics Control apprehended an individual running a marijuana cultivation and storage facility. Upon arrest, they found 45 marijuana plant seedlings, 4 kilograms of processed marijuana, and cash believed to be proceeds from illicit activities. Equipment for packaging drugs was also seized.
The accused and confiscated items are now with the authorities for further legal action.
