Kuwaiti Hajj pilgrims must fulfill health requirements set by the Saudi government

The Ministry of Health has outlined health requirements for Hajj travelers to Saudi Arabia. These include vaccinations for meningitis, COVID-19, and influenza, as well as adherence to preventive measures during the pilgrimage. Health certificates with vaccination details are necessary, and medical examinations are advised for pilgrims. Food handlers and caravan workers must also meet vaccination and health examination criteria. The Kuwaiti Hajj delegation will oversee compliance with health standards and provide medical care as needed. It’s recommended that doctors assess pilgrims’ fitness for the journey, advising against travel for those with certain health conditions. Precautions against infectious diseases like meningitis, influenza, and COVID-19 are emphasized, along with general hygiene practices during the pilgrimage.- ACWY
