Sahel App Makes It Simple to Schedule Biometric Fingerprint Appointments

Kuwaiti nationals and foreign residents can now make appointments for their biometric fingerprints straight through the Sahel application, according to Yousef Kazem, the official spokesman for the government’s integrated electronic services program. In a press release on Thursday, Kazem described the procedure, stating that users must log in to the application, go to the “Appointments” area, and choose “Book an Appointment.”

They should next select “Biometric Fingerprint” and the Ministry of Interior, then the General Administration of Criminal Evidence. Once the desired venue has been chosen, users can see the available appointments for particular days and hours. Users who successfully book will receive a confirmation email and a reminder to bring their civil ID or the “Kuwait Mobile ID” application when they go for the biometric fingerprint procedure. In order to avoid any hiccups in Ministry of Interior transactions, Kazem stressed that this service is in compliance with the Ministry of Interior’s instruction, which mandates that citizens and residents have biometric fingerprinting within the next three months.
