The Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Anwar Al-Hamdan, has set the official working hours for Ramadan. According to a report from Al-Jarida daily, during Ramadan, the working hours for certain offices will be adjusted.
For the offices of the minister, undersecretary, and public relations, the working hours will be from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm. For the financial, legal, and administrative sectors, the hours will be from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm.
During Ramadan, employees will work for four and a half hours per day from Sunday to Thursday. There will also be a grace period of 15 minutes at the beginning and end of the day for employees, with an additional 15 minutes before the end of the day specifically for female employees.
Different sectors within the Ministry of Education will have different working hours. For example, the Financial Affairs, Legal Affairs, and Administrative Affairs sectors will work from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm. Other sectors, such as private education, special education, and information systems, will work from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm.
The working hours for specific offices, such as the Office of the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Public Relations, and Educational Media Department, will be from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm during Ramadan.
