The Criminal Security Sector has apprehended two individuals, a Kuwaiti and a stateless person, while confiscating a significant amount of psychotropic substances and drugs, as well as several firearms and ammunition, all found in a desert area in the northern part of the country.

During a thorough investigation of the area, authorities discovered 150,000 psychotropic tablets (Lyrica and Captagon), one kilogram of hashish, and four firearms with ammunition.

The suspects and the seized items have been referred to the Public Prosecution for appropriate legal action.

The Ministry of Interior emphasizes that security services will remain vigilant in safeguarding society and ensuring safety from the threats of drugs. They urge everyone to collaborate with law enforcement and report any suspicious activities immediately via the emergency hotline “112” or the General Department for Combating Narcotics hotline “1884141″.
