Engineer Muhammad Al-Mutairi, Director of the Capital Governorate Municipality, announced that, following directives from Engineer Saud Al-Dabbous, Director-General of the Kuwait Municipality, municipal teams are taking action against single individuals living in family-oriented areas. This initiative aims to reduce the strain on infrastructure and services. The municipality has disconnected electricity to 13 properties in the governorate after completing legal procedures with the Singles’ Housing Committee, involving representatives from various governmental bodies. These measures respond to 236 complaints from citizens.
