A men’s salon in the busy Salmiya neighborhood was closed by inspectors from the Ministry of Trade and Industry’s Control Department during a recent operation. The salon’s usage of past-due lotions, cosmetics, and shaving paste led to the closure, raising grave concerns for public health and safety.

During a surprise visit, the inspection team, who regularly inspects companies, found that the salon had violated safety and sanitary norms. Customers could be at risk while using out-of-date cosmetic items, so early action was necessary.

The Commercial Prosecution was notified that salon employees were found accountable for using expired merchandise. It is anticipated that legal action would be taken against them to rectify the infraction and guarantee responsibility.
