The Civil Service Commission has set official working hours for government agencies and ministries that use a flexible working hours system during the holy month of Ramadan. There are four and a half hours in a day during these hours.
The Commission’s ruling states that workers must report for duty and be dismissed at five specific times, beginning at 8:30 AM and ending at 10:30 AM. Workers are free to arrive at these times, but they have to finish their work within 4.5 hours of arriving.
