As part of the preparations for the approaching 63rd National Day and the 33rd anniversary of Liberation Day, the Kuwait Municipality has released an extensive field plan. The municipality described in an official statement that was made public on Sunday how it plans to maintain order and cleanliness throughout the national holiday celebrations.
As per the municipality, the field plan includes deploying cleaning personnel and machinery to different streets and venues that are anticipated to host celebrations on national holidays. The campaign started today and will run the entire month of February.
Two of the plan’s most important elements are the elimination of any unlawful activities occurring on state property and the tighter enforcement of the licensing requirements for event planners. The municipality made it clear that supervisory officials would step up their inspection operations to keep an eye on street vendors and make sure the rules are being followed.
To maintain the cleanliness and integrity of public areas such as streets and squares, infractions will be dealt with right away, and violators will face legal consequences. The municipality reminded everyone of the need of working together to keep the country clean during holidays and asked people to abstain from any actions that would detract from the celebrations.
The Hawalli Governorate’s hygiene management team has launched a field campaign to prepare coastal regions in well-known beach locations such Al Blajat, Marina Mall, and Green Island, highlighting ongoing efforts. Public spaces have been cleaned as part of the effort, and trash cans have been supplied to collect rubbish from the festivities.
The initiative today produced notable outcomes, including extensive cleaning of public places, coastal regions, and locations allocated for celebrations. To guarantee efficient waste management and uphold cleanliness standards during the celebrations, the municipality also sent out a sizable labor force, comprising sweepers, lorries, and cleaners, in addition to placing trash cans at key areas.
